Keith Rowe Atherton (born February 19, 1959 in Newport News, Virginia), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues primarily in relief from by|1983-by|1989. Atherton played for the Oakland Athletics (by|1983-by|1986), Minnesota Twins (by|1986-by|1988) and Cleveland Indians (by|1989).

In 342 games, Atherton had a 33-41 record, with 26 saves, 349 strikeouts and a 3.99 ERA. He appeared in the 1987 World Series as a member of the Minnesota Twins.
