Bethnal Green and Stepney was a parliamentary constituency in London, which returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1983 until it was abolished for the 1997 general election, being largely replaced by the Bethnal Green and Bow constituency.

The constituency was only ever represented by a single man – Peter Shore. Shore held the seat for Labour from its creation in 1983 to its abolition in 1997.
