Graeme Hawley

Graeme Hawley (born November 28 1973) is a British actor, born and raised in Coventry, United Kingdom. In 1996 he graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Drama before beginning his acting career in the theatre. His credits have so far included police officer Martin Crowe in ITV's "Emmerdale" and since March 2007 he has been playing the teacher John Stape in "Coronation Street". He has also made appearances in Channel 4's "Shameless" and "A Touch of Frost". Hawley currently lives in Manchester in Northern England and has recently married.

Coronation Street

In the soap opera Coronation Street he has played the role of John Stape since March 2007. Hawley left the show in early November 2007 before returning in June 2008.
