Pat Kavanagh is a distinguished British literary agent.

She is married to, and the literary agent of writer Julian Barnes. They live in North London.

She is famously the ex-agent of Martin Amis, who left her after 23 years to 'throw in his lot' with American agent, Andrew Wylie, nicknamed the Jackal. [cite news
