Florida's Eighteenth Congressional District is a U.S. congressional district in Florida. The district includes many of the southern Miami suburbs as well as the entire Florida Keys. George W. Bush received 54% of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +4.

Currently, the residents of the Eighteenth District are represented by Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

2008 Congressional elections

On February 26, 2008 Annette Taddeo, a local businesswoman, announced that she would run against Ros-Lehtinen in the 2008 general elections. She is one of three Democratic candidates hoping to unseat the three Republicans that represent South Florida in Congress. Two of the three Democrats and all three Republicans are Cuban-American, while Taddeo is Colombian-American.
