Gyldendal Norsk Forlag (ose|GYL), in Norway commonly referred to as Gyldendal, is a Norwegian publishing house founded in 1925. It was established after a corporate demerger brought about when a group of Norwegian investors led by Harald Grieg "bought home" the works of The Four Greats and Knut Hamsun, which had previously been published by the Danish publishing house Gyldendal. The company published both fiction, non-fiction, school books and children books. Gyldendal owns 50% of Kunnskapsforlaget, along with Aschehoug, that publishes encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference books, including Store norske leksikon.

The company is organised with a holding company that is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. This company also owns Ark Bokhandel, Forlagssentralen (50%) and De norske Bokklubbene (48.5%)
