Kaneland High School, or KHS, is a public four-year high school located in Maple Park, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Kaneland Community Unit School District 302.

History

Kaneland first opened in 1958. The staff, faculty, alumni, and current students will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary this fall during homecoming week. More information can be found at the website.

Academics

In 2005, Kaneland had an average composite ACT score of 20.3, and graduated 100.0% of its senior class. The average class size is 290. Kaneland has made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievement Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act. Athletics

Kaneland competes in the Western Sun Conference and Illinois High School Association. Kaneland has a rich history in athletics. They have a total of 8 Illinois High School State Championships.
