The song's melody is very similar to that of Schubert's "Ave Maria" (a recording of which was issued as the b-side of Como's version).

"The Lord's Prayer" was also recorded by the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released as the B-side of the "Little Saint Nick" single on 2 December, 1963. It was also released on the 1983 compilation album "Rarities".pincha puto
