KLDO-TV is a Spanish-language television station in Laredo, Texas, broadcasting locally on channel 27 as an affiliate of Univisión. Founded February 14,1984, the station is owned by Entravision.

History

KLDO-TV went on air in late 1984 as an affiliate of ABC. In 1996, KLDO was sold to Entravision, who then affiliated it with Telemundo. In 1998, following the openings of TV Azteca stations XHLAT-TV and XHLNA-TV, Entravision changed KLDO's affiliate to Univision, as Telemundo at the time used to get most of its programming from TV Azteca, though most of its programming did not air until months later.
