Project Syndicate is an international not-for-profit newspaper syndicate and association of newspapers. It distributes commentaries and analysis ("opinion pieces") by experts, activists, Nobel laureates, statesman, economists, political thinkers, business leaders and academics to its member publications, and encourages networking among its members.

It is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

It currently consists of approximately 390 newspapers in 145 countries, with a total circulation of nearly 50 million copies, making it the world's largest commentary focused syndicate.

It relies primarily on contributions from its members in developed countries, who make up approximately 60% of its membership base, and has received grants from the Open Society Foundation, The Politiken Foundation in Denmark, Die Zeit Ebelin, and Gerd Bucerius Foundation, which together allow it to offer its services free to newspapers in developing countries where journalistic resources may not be readily available.

Project Syndicate translates its columns from English into seven languages: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Spanish and Russian and is published in numerous other languages.
