Castellania is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 30 km southeast of Alessandria. The municipality of Castellania contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Mossabella and Sant'Alosio.

Notable Castellanesi

Castellania is known as the birthplace of two famous racing cyclists: Angelo Fausto Coppi (1919–1960) and his brother Serse Coppi (1923–1951).
