Louis Kamper was an American
architect . Kamper was born in 1861 and died in 1953. He designed, amongst other things,Book Tower ,Book Cadillac Hotel ,Col. Frank J. Hecker House , and theWater Board Building . His residential architecural designs included theItalian Renaissance styled Murray Sales House (1917) at 251 Lincoln inGrosse Pointe ,Michigan .
