Eradi is a Samanthan surname coming from the Indian state of Kerala. They along with others like Menokys and Nedungadis belong to highest subsect of Nairs. The word is derived from the place name "Eranad" in Kerala. The "Samoothiri" (Zamorin) comes from this Samantha Kshatriya group.
