Casnate con Bernate is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 km north of Milan and about 5 km south of Como. As of 1 January 2007, it had a population of 4,681 and an area of 5.3 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]
It comprises the fractions of Casnate and Bernate, which once were distinct municipalities until they merged in 1937.
