The Brunei cricket team is the cricket team that represents the country of Brunei in international cricket matches. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 1992. [http://www.cricketarchive.co.uk/Archive/Countries/43.html]

Their first appearance in an international tournament came in the 1996 ACC Trophy. They failed to progress beyond the first round, and were not seen in the tournament again until 2006 where once failed to progress beyond the first round, although their final group match saw the remarkable occurrence of their opponents Saudi Arabia scoring 499 runs against them, [http://www.acctrophy2006.com/g_180806_01.htm] giving them a somewhat unwanted place in cricket history.
