Rafael Urbano Lugo Colina (born
August 12 ,1962 ) is a formerpitcher forMajor League Baseball .Lugo was signed by the California Angels as an
amateur free agent in 1982. During his career, Colina played for the Angels from 1985-1988, theMontreal Expos in 1989 and theDetroit Tigers in 1990. Lugo also played for the minor leagues with theEdmonton Trappers from 1986-1988 and theIndianapolis Indians in 1989.In his rookie season, Lugo started in ten games and played in ten more, posting a 3-4 record with a 3.69
earned run average . In the seasons that followed, he never appeared in more than thirteen games in a single season. In his career, Lugo pitched 91strikeout s and achieved a 3.75 ERA in 162 innings.His father, of the same name, was a successful pitcher in his homeland of
