24 June 1940 ) is a hereditary knight, a Conservative politician in the UK, and former leading member of theConservative Monday Club , and sometime Mayor of theRoyal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea .Family

A founder-member (1962) of the
Conservative Monday Club , he was firstly editor of their "Newsletter", and from 1967 to 1974 editor of their glossy magazine, "Monday World".
