Monte di Procida includes the small island of San Martino, which was occupied by the Germans during World War II. This is where they kept lookout on the "Torre" that faced out to sea and was a great visual from all nautical points; ammunitions where also stored there. It is located in a small bay called Baia dei Porci and Acquamorta.
Monte di Procida borders the municipality of Bacoli.
