The Buckeye Valley Local School District is located in Delaware, Ohio and is made up primarily of students from the Ashley, Ostrander and Radnor areas. The district currently consists of three elementary schools (East in Ashley, West in Ostrander and North in Radnor), one middle school and one high school. The school's colors are brown and gold and their mascot is the Fighting Baron.

History

The Buckeye Valley Local School District was established in 1963 as a conglomeration of the local Ashley, Ostrander, and Radnor schools.BARONS stands for Bellpoint, Ashley, Radnor, Ostrander, Norton, Scioto, all the areas in the district.

Administration

The Buckeye Valley Administrative offices are located near the middle and high school buildings on Coover Road in Delaware. The "Big House", as it is called informally, houses the offices of the Superintendent, Directors of Administrative Services, Curriculum, Special Education and Classified Services and the Treasurer.
