History

*1584: the area around Mount Komaki was site of the famous Battle of Komaki
*January 1, 1955: The city was established.
*1991-2006: The Peachliner, a guided transport system, operated throughout the city.

Festivals

Ever year on March 15 the citizens of Komaki celebrate Hōnen Matsuri, a fertility festival with wide infamy.
