Soares Sambu

Soares Sambu is a politician in Guinea-Bissau. He was Minister of External Affairs from May 2004 to November 2005 and has been Minister of Natural Resources since April 2007.

Sambu was the Vice-President of the National People's Assembly when it was dissolved in November 2002. ["May 2004 - GUINEA-BISSAUI", Keesing's Record of World Events, Volume 50, May, 2004 Guinea, Page 45988.] Carlos Gomes's government was dismissed in November 2005, and Sambu was replaced as Foreign Minister.

In the government of Prime Minister Martinho Ndafa Kabi, named on April 17 2007, Soares was appointed Minister of Natural Resources.
