Pattada is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 150 km north of Cagliari and about 50 km southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,434 and an area of 164.9 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.] it's famous for the production of Sardinian knives named "resolza".

Many Pattadese are engaged in the production of Pecorino Sardo cheese. The surrounding countryside is largely pastures. Sheep are raised for milk, and the milk is made into cheese at the local co-operative. Much of this cheese is sold in the United States as Pecorino Romano. Other agricultural products include olives, cork, lamb and pork.

The municipality of Pattada contains the "frazione" (subdivision) Bantine.

Pattada borders the following municipalities: Benetutti, Buddusò, Bultei, Nughedu San Nicolò, Nule, Oschiri, Osidda, Ozieri.
