Teulada (Latin: Tegula [ [http://www.ancientlibrary.com/gazetteer/0340.html Hazlitt's Classical Gazetteer, p. 338] ] ) is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 40 km southwest of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,905 and an area of 246.2 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

The municipality of Teulada contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Gutturu saidu, Masoni de susu, Masoni de monti, Su de Is seis, Perdaiola, Su fonnesu, Foxi, Malfatano, Sa portedda, Matteu, Is carillus, Genniomus, and Perdalonga, and the "località" of Sant'Isidoro di Teulada, which is one of the possible sites of the ancient Roman city of Bitia (also called Biotha and Biora).
