The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is a government agency responsible for the development, promotion and regulation of the palm oil industry in Malaysia.[1] MPOB is one of agencies under the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities and is based in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, operating over 30 regional offices, laboratories and research stations in Malaysia as well as Overseas Advisory Offices in Shanghai, Brussels, Washington DC, Giza, Egypt and Karachi.[2] The Director General of MPOB is Choo Yuen May (Datuk Dr).
