Jay Ryan (born Jay Bunyan on August 29, 1981 Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor. Under the name of Jay Bunyan, he had a minor role in Xena but is best known for his portrayal of Jack Scully in the Australian soap opera "Neighbours". He reportedly turned down a major role in a Canadian action movie to play the part.

Ryan also stars in the popular Australian drama, Sea Patrol, as Seaman Billy 'Spider' Webb.
