"The Sound of Girls Aloud: The Greatest Hits" is a "greatest hits" anthology by British girl band Girls Aloud. It was released in the UK on 30 October 2006, and went straight into the UK album charts at #1 - Girls Aloud's first ever #1 album - selling 84,354 copies in its first week of sale.

Album information

The album includes Girls Aloud's first fourteen singles, as well as a new track entitled "Money". A limited edition of the album was also available. It included a bonus disc with unreleased songs, demos and other material.

The lead single taken from this album, "Something Kinda Ooooh", entered the UK Singles Chart at number five on download sales alone, a first for a British act.
