The Kilkenny Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual club competition between the top Kilkenny Gaelic Athletic Association Clubs. The winners of the Kilkenny Championship qualify to represent their county in the Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship.The 2007 final was won by Ballyhale Shamrocks on Sunday the 28th of October with a score of 1-20 to 1-10 for St Martin's.
History
The first Hurling champions of Kilkenny were Tullaroan in 1887.
