The county also contains the towns ofZdzieszowice , lying convert|13|km|mi|0|abbr=on south-east of Krapkowice, andGogolin , convert|5|km|mi|0|abbr=on north-east of Krapkowice.The county covers an area of convert|442.35|km2|sqmi|1. As of 2006 its total population is 67,926, out of which the population of Krapkowice is 18,112, that of Zdzieszowice is 13,329, that of Gogolin is 6,077, and the rural population is 30,408.
