The Movie Experience

The Movie Experience is a small chain of southern California movie theaters founded in 1918. The theaters are distinguished by often screening classic and art house films.

*The Movie Experience in San Luis Obispo.

*Blue Jay Cinema 4 at Lake Arrowhead.

*Pierside Surfcity 6 at Huntington Beach.

*The Movie Experience 10 at Tower Plaza in Temecula.

*The Movie Experience 17 at California Oaks in Murrieta.

*The Movie Experience 14 at the Gardenwalk in Anaheim

creening Room Classics Series

In the 1990's the Movie Experience chain began offering a series of classic movies for viewers. The selection process for the screened films involves voting by the patrons of the theater.

The Art House

At the Temecula and Huntington Beach locations, the theaters are partly dedicated to "The Art House," where independent films are shown. The Temecula Valley location is notable for hosting the Temecula Valley International Film Festival.
