Tracy K. Smith

Tracy K. Smith (b. April 16, 1972, Falmouth, Massachusetts) is a prize-winning African American poet who teaches at Princeton University. She lives in Brooklyn. She has a B.A. from Harvard, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia, and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford University from 1997–1999. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Princeton University.
