The Elk Derry Senior Football Championship 2006 ran between 24 August and 8 October 2006 and was the 2006 installment of the annual Derry Senior Football Championship ran by the Derry GAA. Ballinderry were crowned champions after beating An Lúb in the final at Celtic Park in Derry City. In doing so they defeated all three previous years' champions on route to lifting the Johnny McLaughlin Cup. They went on to represent Derry in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship, where they reached the final.

It was the last year the competition was organised on a straight knock-out basis, before being changed to the current format for the 2007 Championship. All matches were played at neutral venues.
