The Reanimator is a fictional mutant supervillain in the Marvel Comics universe.

Character Biography

While at his base, Reanimator watched as Wolverine (actually a Skrull posing as Wolverine) and Nightcrawler arrived searching for Magneto. He then unleashed several robots, including a double of Magneto, on the two X-Men. Wolverine and Nightcrawler destroyed the robots and left without fighting Reanimator himself.

Reanimator later sent the Quintronic Man, a robot double of Red Skull, and a robot double of Hulk to rob armored cars and banks. Nova defeated the robots while Reanimator watched the battle from a captured H.E.R.B.I.E. robot. He continued to spy on Nova with H.E.R.B.I.E. until he was discovered, vowing revenge on the hero.

Wolverine, having learned of his imposter's incident, travelled to Reanimator's junkyard base. Reanimator panicked when Nova also arrived (following Wolverine) and unleashed all the robots under his control. Nova called in the New Warriors, and soon after they arrived, Reanimator lost his powers due to the High Evolutionary temporarily wiping out all mutant powers. Reanimator was arrested, and his robots were destroyed.

The Robots under his control included:
*Robby the Robot
*A Magneto double
*Two Thing doubles
*A Red Skull double
*Two Hulk doubles
*Three Iron Man doubles
*Quintronic Man
*Five Life Model Decoys of Nick Fury
