The University of Central Oklahoma plays all home American football contests in the newly-renovated 10, 000 seat Wantland Stadium.

Wantland Stadium underwent a dramatic facelift in the summer of 2005 with the addition of a three-level press box that includes club seating and new stands on both sides of the field. Artificial turf, new lighting and a state-of-the-art scoreboard were added to the facility in 2003.

Named after longtime UCO head coach C.W. Wantland, the Bronchos began play in the stadium on Sept. 18, 1965 with a 31-0 shutout of College of the Ozarks (Ark.)

UCO has had nine undefeated home seasons and the Bronchos have a 139-63-5 record in Wantland Stadium, a .671 winning percentage.

UCO’s longest winning streak at Wantland Stadium is 13, set from 1969-71.

The Bronchos are 5-1 in playoff games at Wantland Stadium, topped by a 14-11 win over Mesa State College on Dec. 18, 1982 in the NAIA national championship game televised live.

Wantland Stadium is the home field for all three Edmond high school teams (Memorial, North and Santa Fe) and UCO has hosted the Oklahoma All-State Football Game in the facility six times since 1994.
