Moonee Ponds is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia located in the suburb of Moonee Ponds, on the Craigieburn railway line. Moonee Ponds is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1.

Facilities

Moonee Ponds station is located at the northern end of the Puckle Street level crossing, with station access from Norwood Cresent and Puckle and Margaret Streets.

The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (Flinders Street bound) has a large red brick building, while platform 2 (Craigieburn bound) has a smaller brick building. A large Metcard ticket machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2. Platform 1 now also has a small privately operated magazine stand (as of November 2006). An underpass is situated at the citybound end of the station.

History
