The following is an episode list for the science fiction drama television series "Torchwood" to date.

Series 1 (2006-2007)

The first two episodes of Series 1 of "Torchwood" premiered on 22 October 2006 on BBC Three and BBC HD with all subsequent episodes of that series shown at 10 p.m. on Sunday evenings.

In a press release in June 2008 the BBC have confirmed that a third series has been commissioned. In an interview with "Digital Spy", James Marsters hinted he would be back filming for "Torchwood".cite web

A synopsis released by the BBC Press Office in August 2008 states that "the team [...] battle [s] for the future of the human race against the fiercest force they have encountered". Guest stars include Peter Capaldi as civil servant Mr Frobisher, Paul Copley as "a survivor", and Liz May Brice as an undercover agent who seeks to expose Torchwood.cite press release
