Jay Guidinger

Jay Patrick Guidinger (born August 18 1969, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American former professional basketball player for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.

Playing career

The 6'10" former University of Minnesota Duluth center played for two seasons as a Cleveland Cavaliers' seldom used frontcourt backup to Brad Daugherty, Larry Nance, and John "Hot Rod" Williams. In each of his two NBA regular seasons (1992-94), he played in 32 games and averaged 1.5 and 1.6 points respectively. Including the postseason (where he scored two points), he has a career total of 100 points scored.

Trivia

* Guidinger was in the starting-lineup for five games with the Cavaliers during the 1992-93 season.
* Guidinger appeared in four games in the 1993 NBA Playoffs against the New Jersey Nets and Chicago Bulls.
