Epicurious

Epicurious is a website dedicated to recipes, cooking, drinking, entertaining, and restaurants. It is owned by CondeNet, the online division of Conde Nast Publications. [ [http://news.com.com/2100-1025_3-6107038.html Conde Nast working on its Net] ] The site also includes recipes from Bon Appétit magazine and Gourmet magazine. [ [http://www.ecommercetimes.com/story/537.html Williams-Sonoma, Epicurious Make Recipe for Online Sales] ] The site accepts recipe contributions from readers. The name is a portmanteau of "epicure", one with discriminating tastes in food or wine, and curious, and is a pun on the etymological origin of "epicure", Epicurus, a Greek philosopher.

Epicurious used to have a TV series on the Discovery Channel, but it no longer airs.
