This gallery of flags of Swiss cantons and half cantons shows the flags of the 23 cantons of Switzerland, 3 of which are subdivided into 6 half cantons, yielding 26 in total.Nidwalden and Obwalden are traditional subdivisions of Unterwalden. Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft as well as Appenzell Inner- and Ausserrhoden are half cantons, resulting from the division of Basel and Appenzell, respectively.
