|UKTV Style (previously UK Style) is a
television channel broadcasting in theUnited Kingdom , as part of theUKTV network of channels, and launched on1 November 1997 . Along with the rest of the network, the "UK" prefix was changed toUKTV on8 March 2004 and is thus now known as UKTV Style.The channel is available on Sky Digital,
Tiscali TV andVirgin Media . The channel is also available ondigital terrestrial television through theTop Up TV pay-tv service from 1pm to 4pm on channel 26. Prior to May2002 , UK Style was carried onITV Digital channel 38, 24 hours a day.A two hour timeshift channel named UKTV Style 2 launched on Sky on 12 December 2007 and subsequently closed down on 15 September 2008 to make way for the new UKTV channel 'Watch'.

The output of the channel shows lifestyle programmes (mainly
image ,home improvement s andDIY shows) that are a combination of internally produced shows and repeats of shows from theBBC archive. Before the launch ofUKTV Food , it also showed many cookery programmes and gardening programmes, however these now all reside onUKTV Food andUKTV Gardens respectively.Current Programming
