List of census agglomerations by province or territory

The tables below list Canada's 111 census agglomerations 2006.

2006 changes

Statistics Canada announced that, for the 2006 Census, the following changes would be made to the list [http://www.statcan.ca/english/Subjects/Standard/sgc/2006/2006-sgc-intro-fin.htm#4] . Populations figures from the 2006 census have been added below to reflect these changes. Please note that numerous Census Areas underwent boundary changes from 2001 to 2006. The population and area figures for the 2001 Census have been adjusted to reflect these changes [http://www12.statcan.ca/english/census06/reference/notes/cma.cfm] .
