Richard Howitt

Richard Howitt

Richard Howitt (born 5 April 1961 in Reading, Berkshire) is a Member of the European Parliament for the Labour Party for the East of England. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 1994, when he was elected for the constituency of South Essex.

Before being elected he was the leader of Harlow Council and worked in the voluntary sector.
