This is a list of members of the International Ice Hockey Federation and national teams. The IIHF is the international governing body that regulates ice hockey around the world. Under the IIHF, there are three levels for member organizations. The highest level is IIHF Full Member. These nations have their own hockey association, and they participate in the IIHF World Championships. The second level is IIHF Associate Member. These nations either do not have their own independent hockey association, or have one, but have limited participation in the World Championships. The third category, IIHF Affiliate Member, are for nations that only participate in the IIHF InLine Championships.
