King David High School is committed to:

tatement of Purpose
Our school nurtures a Jewish high school community characterized by a shared tradition, a common dedication to social justice and a love for learning. Our faculty teaches a rigorous dual curriculum (general and Judaic curriculum) in an environment where questions are as important as answers. We challenge our students to cultivate their talents according to their interests in the intellectual, artistic, spiritual and physical realms. We instill in our students a sense of identity with and responsibility to the State of Israel, the Jewish community and the greater community within which they reside. The King David High School community is a place where our Jewish teens enjoy an excellent education, feel valued, and form strong social bonds with their peers, in a safe and nurturing environment.
Facility
KDHS opened its doors for the 2005-06 school year in its new facility – a state-of- the-art high school, both in terms of design and outfitting. In addition to classrooms it has two science labs, a home economics lab, a music and drama studio, a library, an art room and a computer lab.
Academics
King David High School strives to develop the academic potential of each student to allow them to thrive and achieve the post secondary goals of their choice. Our academic program features:
- Smaller classes and excellent teachers provide students with an intensive quality education
- Ministry of Education report recognized our teachers for their commitment to individual support and enrichment
- The expertise of a school educational psychologist
- Peer Tutor Program which allows senior students to use their academic strengths to assist other students

KDHS offers a state of the art information network giving students and staff access to over 60 workstations and a wireless network for laptop computers. This includes:

- Computers in every classroom;
- KDHS e-mail addresses issued for all students and staff;
- A comprehensive library with computers for research assignments and communication.

Athletics
At King David High School we recognize and value the benefits that physical education and extracurricular athletics have to offer developing young Jewish men and women. We are committed to improving their physio-motor, cognitive and affective skills in the physical education realm. Our athletic program encourages the students to treat one another with respect, dignity and in a manner in which they'd like to be treated in return. Moreover, we hold our students to high standards of sportsmanship, teamwork, cooperation and enthusiasm. Students involved in physical education as well as extracurricular athletics at King David High School have great pride and responsibility in representing their school with positive attitudes, competitiveness and leadership.
