Campus

St. Anne's-Belfield School is a college preparatory school located on two campuses totaling 49 acres of land. The Upper Campus, located on Ivy Road, is home to the Middle School (grades five to eight) and Upper School (grades nine to 12), as well as the Administrative, Arts, and Alumni buildings. The Lower Campus is home to the Lower School (pre-kindergaretn to fourth grade), Conway Convocation Center, Gym, and the athletic fields. St. Anne's-Belfield has six buildings housing its 97 classrooms (including three computer labs and eight science labs), two libraries, and three gymnasiums on two campuses which total 49 acres. Recent additions include a 32,000-square-foot Athletic and Convocation Center, a Student Activities Center, a baseball field, a softball field, six tennis courts and a state of the art FieldTurf football field (the same used in many college and NFL stadiums). In September 2000, the school opened with major renovations completed on its Upper School building, Randolph Hall, which included expansion of the library and construction of a 12,000-square-foot annex. Extensive renovations were also completed on the dormitory, including central air conditioning, new dining facilities, and new furnishings for each dormitory room. The school has two libraries. The Mary Welham Knopf Library serves grades five through twelve. The Mary Jane Simpson Library serves grades PreK through four. The Alumni Cottage, formerly a residence for faculty, now houses the Alumni and Development offices. The Mary Welham Knopf Library has an on-line public access catalogue, an eclectic collection of printed historical material, a virtual library on-line resource, and 16 workstations connected to the World Wide Web and to subscribed on-line resources. Both campuses are connected by a Wide Area Network.
