1999–2000 United States network television schedule

This was the United States broadcast television schedule on all six commercial television networks for the Fall season beginning in September 1999. All times are Eastern and Pacific.

"PBS, the Public Broadcasting Service, was in operation but the schedule was set by each local station."

The most-watched show for the year is highlighted in lime. The top 10 most-watched programs are highlighted in yellow. The top 20 most-watched programs are highlighted in cyan. " Note: The ABC game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire aired in nightly installments from August 16, 1999 to August 28, 1999, November 7, 1999 to November 24, 1999 and from January 9, 2000 to January 15, 2000. It then became a 3-nights-a-week series airing Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays on January 16, 2000."

Note: On ABC, the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire aired at 8:00 in midseason, moving Spin City to Wednesdays 9:30. Also on ABC, NYPD Blue aired in midseason at 10:00. On FOX, Ally aired as re-edited half-hour repeats of the original hour-long Ally McBeal series.
