Bangalore ,India . It derives its name from theVijayanagara empire that flourished in south India during 15th and 16th centuries. It is bound by Mysore Road and Magadi Road, with Chord Road cutting through.People started dwelling in this locality from late 1970s. It has a sizable middle class population.
