Lewis Montrose (born November 17, 1988) is a Scottish footballer, currently playing for Cheltenham Town on loan from Wigan Athletic. He made his Wigan debut, as a substitute, in the 2–0 League Cup defeat against Crewe, in 2006. He made his full competitive début for Wigan Athletic in a second round Carling Cup 4–0 defeat of Notts County on 26 August 2008. On 27 March 2008, Montrose was loaned out to League Two promotion-chasers Rochdale, until the end of the season. However injury ended his spell at the club before he made a single competitive appearance. On 24 September 2008, Montrose was loaned out to Cheltenham Town on a one month loan. Montrose said "I am hoping to be in contention for the first team, and to gain some vital experience". "Martin Allen is a good manager and I'm hoping I can get some playing time under my belt."
