Alliance for Children and Families

The Alliance for Children and Families is an international membership non-profit organization representing more than 300 child- and family-serving and economic empowerment organizations. Alliance members are "private" non-profit human service organizations that serve more than 8 million individuals annually in more than 6,700 communities, providing a vast array of services ranging from residential care to domestic abuse prevention and intervention.

The Alliance for Children and Families formed in October 1998 when Family Service America (established 1911) and the National Association of Homes and Services for Children (established 1973) merged.
