Internazionale paid €2.5m for the left winger on January 2004, but left immediately on loan to Parma, as part of the deal of Adriano. After a lack of first team experience, he was loaned back to
Dinamo Bucuresti in January 2005. After playing for Dinamo Bucuresti for a year, Zicu remained in his country on loan to Rapid Bucuresti. AtRapid Bucharest Zicu was the team's top scorer after a good year for the Romanian midfielder. Zicu has now signed for Dinamo Bucharest on a permanent deal.International career
