Telex Communications

Telex Communications was a Burnsville, Minnesota-based manufacturer of hearing aids and audio equipment. Founded in 1936 as a maker of hearing aids, it merged in February 1998 with Electro-Voice, a competitor founded in 1930 which provided John Glenn's microphone during his orbit of earth in 1962.
